House Music is one of the most popular types of event music in Los Angeles.  House music is typically either 4x4 or 2x4 depending on where the infacis is on the down beats.  Normally house music is performed at events where dancing is one of the main activities however there are many situations where House music has been performed through dinner and during lounge activities. 

West Cost House Music

On the west coast of the United States there are many insistences where house music is performed with other instruments besides turn tables.  As an example, Jam Media Connect hosted a performance at Absinth in Santa Barbara just outside Los Angeles County.  They had multiple rooms with house music.  Each room also highlighted something unique about the music.  One room featured a variety of house DJs with keyboardist Gregory Hilllman.  Corporate Event Music has a network of House DJs and turntableists all around the United States.
